As you might know...I'm the kind of person who's into charity and humanitarian relief. That being said...I came across two fund-raising campaigns that truly touch my heart and concern me since they haven't been fully funded yet...
A woman named Jesse Bender is trying to raise money for an orphanage in the island nation of Fiji. From what I can tell, she loves these children dearly, she loves all children dearly, actually. In fact, she has stated in her campaign updates that it's the only important thing in her life right now. She is very knowledgeable about Fiji and its people and wants to adopt Fijian Children in several years. Her other updates are rife with examples of her taking good care of the children: taking them all to the movies, buying toys and Disney movies for them. She truly is a wonderful person. I can't help but be reminded of how Michael Jackson used to go to children's hospitals and orphanages around the world and spend the day with the children there like what she does.
...the only problem is she's dying of cancer. Her other campaign is all about providing money for the medical costs for her Leukemia. Her Leukemia is a more tricky subject because it's not always active. I'd love to see Jesse help children around the world but she can't if she's...You know...

I don't ask for much...but it would make me really joyful if somebody donated something to either of her campaigns. If 200 people donated just 10 USD to her Fiji fund...her campaign would be over today and there would be a lot of joyful children in Fiji.
If you can't donate...spread her campaigns everywhere and spread them to everybody you know...and don't know. That way, even if you don't have the money to help her, people who can will find out about it and hopefully be persuaded to donate to her.
Things like film and space exploration are important in my life...but things like this are much more important. Please do something, we can heal the world together, we just need a little love!
