As you might know...I'm the kind of person who's into charity and humanitarian relief. That being said...I came across two fund-raising campaigns that truly touch my heart and concern me since they haven't been fully funded yet...

A woman named Jesse Bender is trying to raise money for an orphanage in the island nation of Fiji. From what I can tell, she loves these children dearly, she loves all children dearly, actually. In fact, she has stated in her campaign updates that it's the only important thing in her life right now. She is very knowledgeable about Fiji and its people and wants to adopt Fijian Children in several years. Her other updates are rife with examples of her taking good care of the children: taking them all to the movies, buying toys and Disney movies for them. She truly is a wonderful person. I can't help but be reminded of how Michael Jackson used to go to children's hospitals and orphanages around the world and spend the day with the children there like what she does.

...the only problem is she's dying of cancer. Her other campaign is all about providing money for the medical costs for her Leukemia. Her Leukemia is a more tricky subject because it's not always active. I'd love to see Jesse help children around the world but she can't if she's...You know...

Here's her Fiji Orphange campaign: www.gofundme.com/gpxv9s

Here's the campaign to help pay for her leukaemia-related medical bills: www.gofundme.com/du5ny8

I don't ask for much...but it would make me really joyful if somebody donated something to either of her campaigns. If 200 people donated just 10 USD to her Fiji fund...her campaign would be over today and there would be a lot of joyful children in Fiji.

If you can't donate...spread her campaigns everywhere and spread them to everybody you know...and don't know. That way, even if you don't have the money to help her, people who can will find out about it and hopefully be persuaded to donate to her.

Things like film and space exploration are important in my life...but things like this are much more important. Please do something, we can heal the world together, we just need a little love!

I've been writing down song lyrics that have popped into my head lately...hopefully this will lead to me publishing a complete song one that actually rhymes and has organization.

I'm not sure how much I'm going into lyricism/songwriting...maybe it could hopefully end up with me producing an amatuer EP. The problem with this is that I'm totally untrained as a singer, have no equipment or band...

Some album title names I've thought up are: "Are you there God? It's me, Matthew." or "For Dog so loved the world" as the songs will have spiritual and existential themes.

Tell me what you think.

First and foremost I am a aspiring filmmaker, this means I am going to film school to be a director, producer and screenwriter. Even though I have my heart set on this career choice, I won't be afraid to try my luck at the other arts. For instance, I've always thought I could possibly be a musician of some type as well. I am a fan of any film that is part of speculative fiction, not too inappropriate, and fun and exciting. My interests are in no way limited to the arts or to story-making either. I can see myself being involved with humanitarian work and the sciences. In fact, I have considered donating to a variety of organizations such as various charities and even major aerospace projects.

Before I decided on becoming a filmmaker (and writer too) considered being a chaplain in the US Navy as well as working for PIXAR in some way. Even though I am not going to persue those careers, I still have respect for the aforementioned institutions, including the US military since I grew up in a bit of a military family. I also do some 4-H on the side, but just for fun. :D

As well as constantly experiencing media in order to improve my humble artistic and storyline skills, I am always on the lookout for actors I want to have in my future films and tv shows too.

My major artistic influences include Mervyn Peake, Christopher Nolan, Joss Whedon, George Lucas, J.R.R. Tolkien, C. S. Lewis, Robert Jordan, Hayao Miyazaki, Shigeru Miyamoto, Hironobu Sakaguchi, Pendleton Ward, David Lynch, Ray Comfort and Ted Dekker.

My credentials/resume:

My own personal youtube channel; a little bit of directing, writing and acting from me:

And lastly, on the former gaming channel headed and created by my best friend, "Three Guys in a Chair" (3GC), in where I am a co-host/moderator...person? Anywho:

...

I am a fan. It barely matters of what, but whatever it is, you'll probably learn what it is or hear about it on this Deviantart account.

Thank you so very much for the watch! :D

I actually couldn't help but take the time to observe your front profile a little bit, and it appears you and I have a lot in common! ^^ I too am an aspiring film director and artist at heart! :3 Not to mention I'm also a brony, Star Wars fan, Star Trek fan (particularly TNG; Picard is best captain, I say), and a Christopher Nolan fan, among a few other things... I'd love it if we could get to know each other further!

I think you deserve an explanation. I was browsing on your main page when I noticed I had accidently watched your account. After realizing this, I quickly unwatched. The whole thing is a mistake.

However, even though I watched you by accident, you're still free to comment and note and even watch this account if you like, now that you are aware of me.

(Sorry for the late reply.)

Oh, it's quite alright. ^^ If my art isn't your cup of tea, I completely understand. It's quite a niche genre, to say the least... X3

Though it would be my absolute pleasure to become closer friends with you through future conversations! :D I'd be happy to support your account by watching it!

Well, I couldn't tell from your account that you were into everything you claimed to be into or that you want to be into film directing, so I'll take that as a coincidence. :/

There is plenty of stuff on this account that would interest any film aficionado or future filmmaker, though...

Oh, thank you for the watch! I don't have many watchers...
